Arkansas Tech University has gained recognition for offering one of the most affordable graphic design programs in the United States.
Best Value Schools assessed National Center for Education Statistics related to tuition rates and admission rates for universities offering a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Through the application of that rubric, Arkansas Tech was judged to have the No. 3 most affordable graphic design program in the country.
According to information provided by the ATU Department of Art, the Arkansas Tech Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design is “committed to providing a core foundation in visual art concepts, skills and processes as well as art through technology and other media.”
Critical thinking, historical perspectives and the development of a portfolio are other stated points of emphasis in the ATU graphic design program, which is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
