Students from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Agriculture will put their fall semester work on display during a poinsettia sale at the ATU Greenhouses on Monday, Nov. 29.
Poinsettias will be available for purchase from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Proceeds from the sale will help ATU Department of Agriculture student organization members travel to conferences and competitions. Funds raised will also assist in the purchase of supplies for labs and classes as well as the maintenance of greenhouse structures and equipment.
This marks the 38th year that the ATU Department of Agriculture has hosted a poinsettia sale.
The ATU Greenhouses are located on the north end of the Arkansas Tech campus in Russellville at 380 West Harrell Drive, just west of the ATU Office of Facilities Management buildings. There will be signs on the days of the sale to direct shoppers to the greenhouses. Payment may be made as cash, check or credit/debit card.
The department is also working on re-opening its page to sell through the Russellville Community Market and offer contact-free delivery at the Russellville Train Depot from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30.
