Arkansas Tech University will host a youth spirit clinic for children age 5-12 on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Children attending the clinic will learn about cheerleading and dance from members of the Arkansas Tech spirit squads.
The clinic will be conducted in ATU’s Hull Physical Education Building, 1301 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville. Check-in will take place from 8:30-9 a.m. and the clinic will begin at 9 a.m.
Clinic participants will receive a T-shirt and learn routines they will perform at halftime of the Arkansas Tech women’s basketball game that afternoon. Tip-off for the Golden Suns’ game against the University of Arkansas-Monticello is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 5 at Tucker Coliseum, 1604 Coliseum Drive in Russellville.
Cost for the clinic is $30 per child. Game tickets may be purchased online at www.arkansastechsports.com/tickets.
