Arkansas Tech University students are invited to a virtual admissions event with The Washington Center on Tuesday, March 8.
The session will begin at 4 p.m. (Central Standard Time). Those in attendance will learn about internship opportunities in Washington, D.C., and how those internships can be applied to academic credit. Arkansans can access up to $7,000 to participate in the program.
Students from Arkansas who have participated in the program in the past will share their experiences during the virtual event.

According to its website, The Washington Center “provides immersive internships and academic seminars to students from hundreds of colleges and universities and young professionals from across the U.S. and more than twenty-five countries.”
More than 60,000 TWC alumni have earned career opportunities in fields such as law, education, social work, medicine, journalism, diplomacy, business and politics.
