The National Weather Service has notified the public that severe thunderstroms are likely in Arkansas on Wednesday, April 13.
Arkansas Tech University campuses in Russellville and Ozark are included in a region that faces a risk for severe weather. Large hail, tornadoes and damaging straight line winds are all possible.
Meteorologists forecast that 10 a.m.-2 p.m. will be the window of highest threat to the ATU campus in Ozark and that the ATU campus in Russellville is most likely to experience severe weather between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
