U.S. News and World Report has named Arkansas Tech University the No. 1 regional public university in Arkansas for a second consecutive year.
ATU is listed in the publication’s 2022-23 rankings as the best regional public university in Arkansas for overall quality and No. 1 among all Arkansas public universities in providing upward social mobility to its graduates.
In addition, Arkansas Tech is ranked among the top 32 public universities in the southern United States for 2022-23.
For its 38th college rankings, U.S. News and World Report assessed factors such as graduation and retention rates, social mobility, faculty resources, survey data concerning academic reputation, average class sizes, graduate indebtedness, student achievement and alumni giving.
Founded in 1909, Arkansas Tech serves 9,431 students through campuses in Russellville and Ozark. ATU conferred 3,923 degrees during the 2021-22 academic year, an increase of 23.2 percent as compared to four years earlier.
