Greenwood High School won first place in the overall competition at the 2023 Future Farmers of America (FFA) Day at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus.
The competition consists of two sets of tests in agricultural electronics and agricultural mechanics. The high score in each category receives a $500 scholarship for the fall 2023 semester at ATU-Ozark Campus. This year’s scholarship recipients are Caden Erskine in agricultural electrification and Bodey Steinfeldt in agricultural mechanics, both from Greenwood High School.
FFA Day at ATU-Ozark has been an annual event since 1967. It is designed to prepare students for regional and state events.
