River Valley Radio will present a charitable walk entitled Mom-A-Thon on the Arkansas Tech University campus in Russellville on Saturday, May 13.
Designed to honor all mothers, participation in the walk is open to all at no charge. Donations will be accepted for the benefit of the River Valley Shelter, which serves women and children in need. Registration will be any kind of donation to the shelter: cleaning supplies, clothes, towels, cash or any item.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. at Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, 305 West Q Street in Russellville.
