Seventy-five Arkansas Tech University music students fanned out over the State of Arkansas on Wednesday, Dec. 6, for a chamber music tour.
Woodwind players performed at Lakeside High School and Lake Hamilton High School under the direction of ATU faculty members Dr. Phoebe Robertson, Dr. Nathan Mensink and Dr. Nicolas del Grazia.
ATU high brass students were directed by ATU faculty members Dr. TJ Perry and Evan Mino during appearances at Alma High School and Fort Smith Northside High School.
ATU faculty members Dr. Sean Reed and Dr. Ryan Matejek led ATU low brass students for performances at Cabot High School, Bryant High School and Morrilton High School.
Dr. Daniel A. Belongia, ATU director of bands, and Dr. Jonathan Nash, ATU associate director of bands, were among those who helped coordinate the tour.
The project was made possible through the private support provided to ATU bands by ATU Friends of Music.
