Symphonic Band, Brass Choir Take the Stage Thursday

Symphonic Band and Brass Choir 9-26-2024

Arkansas Tech University will present the ATU Symphonic Band and the ATU Brass Choir for a concert entitled “If I Have Seen Further” on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium, 407 West Q Street in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.

The ATU Symphonic Band will offer its renditions of “Call to Commitment” by James M. David, “Diamond Tide” by Viet Cuong, “A Movement for Rosa” by Mark Camphouse and “Symphonic Dance No. 3” by Clifton Williams.

The ATU Brass Choir will play “Canzon Duodecemi Toni” by Giovanni Gabrieli, “It Is Well With My Soul” by Philip P. Bliss and “Fanfare for Oya” by Katahj Copley.

The ATU Symphonic Band is conducted by Dr. Jon Nash. Dr. TJ Perry serves as conductor for the ATU Brass Choir.
