ATU SGA Benefits from Leadership of Executive Board

Eight Arkansas Tech University students have earned leadership roles on the ATU Student Government Association executive board for the fall 2024 semester.

Elli White of Malvern is serving as president. She is available for office hours in the ATU SGA office, Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 219, from 11 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m. each Wednesday during the fall semester.

White is joined on the ATU Student Government Association executive board by Ashlyn Brickley of Ozark (vice president), Noah Sumler of Memphis, Tenn. (secretary of internal affairs), Morgen Burgess of Shirley (secretary of public relations), Allie Davis of Hot Springs (secretary of culture and belonging), Kadance Lane of Malvern (secretary of student development), Bethani Walter of Dardanelle (secretary of community outreach) and Carson Smith of Russellville (secretary of finance and administration).

Dr. Keegan Nichols, ATU vice president for student affairs, and Kevin Solomon, ATU dean of student engagement, serve as advisors to ATU Student Government Association.

The published mission statement for ATU Student Government Association is “to genuinely represent the interests of students and enhance the student decision-making process, to improve campus life through the creation and continuation of viable and effective student services, to preserve and protect the traditions of the university and to support students and student organizations in their academic and community endeavors.”

ATU Student Government Association meets at noon each Wednesday during the fall and spring semesters. The meetings take place in Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242 and are open to the public.

ATU Student Government Association executive board conducts its weekly meetings at noon Mondays in the Mary Anne Salmon Senate Chamber, Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 180.
