The three-man team of Jackson Cole, Roy McSpadden and Houston Townsend fired a 17-under par round of 54 to win the championship flight in the 2024 Arkansas Tech University Homecoming Golf Classic on Friday, Oct. 11, at Russellville Country Club.
Cole, McSpadden and Townsend made 15 birdies, one eagle and two pars to earn a one-stroke victory over the runner-up team of Barton Allen, Ian Bryan and John Chenowith.
One of the highlights of the day was provided by Alyssia Barton, who made a hole-in-one on the par-3 14th hole.
A total of 39 teams competed in the tournament, which helps fund initiatives such as the ATU Alumni Association Scholarship.
