The National Weather Service has notified the public that severe thunderstorms are likely in Arkansas during the afternoon and evening hours on Monday, Nov. 4.
The advisory indicates the region including the Arkansas Tech University campuses in Russellville and Ozark is under a slight-to-enhanced risk for severe weather. Damaging straight-line winds and isloated tornadoes are among the threats with this system.
If the severe weather leads to any building issues (including leaks in any ATU facilities), those who discover the issues are asked to contact the ATU Office of Facilities Management at (479) 968-0261 for assistance.
