Nursing Honor Society Gives to Heath Scholarship

The Arkansas Tech University chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nurses, donated $500 to the Korey Brooke Heath Memorial Scholarship at the outset of the spring 2025 semester.

A Russellville High School graduate, Heath was a senior nursing student at ATU when brain cancer claimed her life on May 29, 2023. She was a member of the ATU University Honors program and earned multiple Dean’s List awards in recognition of her academic achievement at Arkansas Tech.

Heath received her nursing degree posthumously in December 2023.
