ATU International Film Festival Celebrates 10 Years

Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the 10th annual International Film Festival at Arkansas Tech University during the spring 2025 semester.

Eight films in four languages will be screened during the festival. Below is a schedule of showings. Each screening is free for ATU faculty, staff and students. Each one will begin at 7 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville.

  • Tuesday, March 4: “The Motorcycle Diaries” (Spanish)
  • Wednesday, March 5: “The Counterfeiters” (German)
  • Thursday, March 6: “Promare” (Japanese)
  • Tuesday, March 11: “The Kid with a Bike” (French)
  • Wednesday, March 12: “Kiki’s Delivery Service” (Japanese)
  • Thursday, March 13: “Deutschland 83” (German)
  • Tuesday, March 18: “Utama” (Spanish)
  • Wednesday, March 19: “The Intouchables” (French)

The festival is organized by Philippe Van Houtte, ATU librarian and visiting lecturer of French.

Films are selected by members of the world languages faculty at Arkansas Tech.
