The Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Association will be giving back to the River Valley community this week.
The Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Association will be giving back to the River Valley community this week.
The groups have adopted a highway in Russellville and will be hosting two trash pickups. The first pickup will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. and the second pickup is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
Both pickups will take place along North Phoenix Avenue, and those wishing to take part will meet at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex.
Any member of the Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association is invited to take part in the event, and the Alumni Office will provide gloves and trash bags.
Organizers say they hope to see lots of alumni and students help to enhance the River Valley community.
