Arkansas Tech University has received funds through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 is an economic stimulus package passed by the U.S. Congress in March of 2021 to help speed up the United States’ recovery from economic and health impacts related to COVID-19.
As part of the act, students at ATU may have the opportunity to receive funds towards supporting their education.
The ARP grants will be administered by Arkansas Tech University and awarded to students who:
- Attended ATU any time between March 2020 through now
- Are citizens and domestic undergraduate or graduate students with extraordinary financial circumstances
- Students who received a Pell Grant
Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be processed in the order they are received, and an application does not guarantee funds will be awarded.
The application is available now and undergraduate students with Pell-grant status or extraordinary need should apply for funding by 5:00 p.m. July 15, 2021.
Undergraduate students who are not Pell-eligible, and graduate students, may apply beginning July 16, 2021, and should apply before the deadline of 5:00 p.m. August 6, 2021.
Eligible users who are unable to log in to complete an application for ARP funding should contact the Campus Support Center at 479-968-0646 or email campussupport@atu.edu.
ATU recognizes that Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) information may not always accurately portray a current financial situation.
