Archived videos of Arkansas Tech University athletic competitions and archived audio recordings of piano performances by Dr. Tim Smith are the newest entries into the multimedia collections in the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center Online Research Commons.
The digital collection of ATU football games, basketball games and volleyball matches is available at https://orc.library.atu.edu/athletics_videos.
The digital collection of Smith piano performances is available at https://orc.library.atu.edu/tsmith_piano.
Smith serves as professor of music at ATU and has been a member of the faculty since 1998.
“Both digital collections feature descriptive, historical information to accompany the streaming media,” said Lowell Lybarger, ATU media librarian. “These resources demonstrate the value of the ATU library and the burgeoning ATU archives.”
Digitization and metadata processing of the original recordings was an endeavor involving Lybarger, Charity Park, university archivist, and the student staff of the ATU Media Lab in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.
