Eighteen Arkansas Tech University students have received League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) scholarships in support of their studies during the 2021-22 academic year.
ATU’s LULAC scholarship recipients for this year are:

- Susana Torres-Lucero
- Francisco Valenzuela
- Alyssa Vega
According to its website, LULAC “advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 1,000 LULAC councils nationwide.”
Arkansas Tech and LULAC entered into a memorandum of understanding in October 2016 that provides enhanced educational opportunities for Hispanic Americans.
Applications for the scholarships must be received by March 31 of each year.
