Arkansas Tech University observed Veterans Day 2022 with a ceremony at the flagpole outside Tucker Coliseum on Friday, Nov. 11.
Remarks were provided by Sergeant Major Anthony Moats from the Arkansas Army National Guard. Cadets from the U.S. Army ROTC program at ATU served as color guard.
The event was sponsored by the ATU Office of Veteran Services. The mission of the office is to “assist veterans, guardsmen, reservists and their dependents in taking full advantage of all educational benefits to which they are entitled and to assist in their transition to student life and to persist until they have attained their educational goal.”
