The MOU was signed by Dr. Kevin Durand, AMFRA chief academic officer, and Dr. Adolfo Santos, ATU executive vice president for academic affairs and provost.

Under the terms of the agreement, ATU has committed to assist in communicating university program opportunities that match the career and educational goals of AMFRA students in the areas of first responder, emergency management, homeland security and related fields with a mutual goal of producing more university-prepared students in those areas.

AMFRA’s commitment through the MOU includes providing opportunities for ATU faculty to engage with students in appropriate training, speaking and educational opportunities that help meet the needs of AMFRA students and the strategic planning goals of Arkansas Tech.
