Arkansas Tech University Homecoming 2024 will include an ATU Black Alumni reunion with multiple opportunities for fellowship and fun.
There will be an ATU Black Alumni block party from 7-11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Hindsman Tower. The event will include food trucks, yard games, card tournaments and music.
The reunion will continue with pre-game tailgating outside Simmons Bank Field at Thone Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 12. The tailgate will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Centennial Plaza and continue until time for the Homecoming queen and king crowning inside the stadium at 3:30 p.m.
Tailgate participants will have the opportunity to enjoy free chicken provided by Tyson Foods.
The Homecoming football game between Arkansas Tech and Southwestern Oklahoma State University is scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
