Dr. Katie Rohwer, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music at Arkansas Tech University, has announced student auditions to join the ATU choirs for the fall 2024 semester.
The auditions are planned for Tuesday, Aug. 13, Thursday, Aug. 15, and Friday, Aug. 16, in Witherspoon Hall room 217.
Each audition will include one vocal solo of the student’s choice and a portion of Jake Runestad’s “Alleluia.” Auditions will be evaluated based on range, sight reading ability, tonal memory, the prepared vocal solo and the prepared choral piece.
