A summer food drive to benefit the Green and Gold Cupboard organized by the Arkansas Tech University Staff Senate yielded 309.35 pounds of donated items.
Dr. Jan Jenkins, director of ATU University Honors (photographed, far left), and Dr. Jamie Earls, assistant director of ATU University Honors (photographed, far right), received the donation on behalf of the Green and Gold Cupboard.
Lou Ann Reeves (photographed, middle left), 2018-19 president of the ATU Staff Senate, presented the donation with assistance from fellow ATU Staff Senate member Charity Smith (photographed, middle right).
ATU Staff Senate members Megan Green, Angela Bell and Denise Wallis also assisted in planning and executing the drive.
The ATU Green and Gold Cupboard is located at 1019 N. Arkansas Avenue. The cupboard is available to all current Arkansas Tech students, faculty and staff in need of assistance.
Hours for summer 2019 are 4-6 p.m. Mondays and noon-2 p.m. Thursdays (excluding holidays).
