Arkansas Tech University announced the winning entries in the 2020 ATU Creative Writing Scholarship Contest during Time Out for Tech on Feb. 6.
The annual contest is administered by the ATU Department of English and World Languages.
The 2020 winners, listed with the amount of the scholarship they each won, are:
- 1st place: Nicole Hughes, Dardanelle High School ($1,500)
- 2nd place: Austin Lillard, Pottsville High School ($1,000)
- 3rd place: Conner Cooper, Bald Knob High School ($1,000)
- 4th place: Anna Moore, Dover High School ($500)
- 5th place: Maggie DuVall, Russellville High School ($500)
- 6th place: Dasia Williams, Ozark High School ($500)
