The Arkansas Tech University marching band, “Arkansas’ Band of Distinction,” will provide a preview of the music in its fall 2024 show during a community event at the Russellville Train Depot in Russellville Downtown on Friday, Aug. 16.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. Attendance will be free and open to the public.
Dr. Daniel A. Belongia serves as director of bands and professor of music at ATU. Dr. Jon Nash is associate director of bands and assistant professor of music.
The ATU marching band will make its football season debut on Thursday, Sept. 5, when Arkansas Tech hosts Oklahoma Baptist University for the Wonder Boys’ first game of the 2024 campaign. Kickoff at Simmons Bank Field at Thone Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
