Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus will memorialize Patricia Anne McCreary with a tree planting ceremony on Thursday, April 21.
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the west side of campus. A Ginkgo biloba tree will be planted in McCreary’s memory and in observance of both Earth Day and Arbor Day.
McCreary was an instructor at ATU-Ozark from 1990-2013. She served as program chair of applied laboratory technology and was an instructor of biology.
A resident of Ozark for 46 years and mother of five, McCreary was living in Frisco, Texas, at the time of her passing on March 7, 2022. She was 79.
