ATU School of PACE Hosts Launch Party

The Arkansas Tech University School of Professional and Community Education (PACE) celebrated its new name with a launch party on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Dean Hall Courtyard.

The ATU School of PACE includes academic programs in emergency management and homeland security, higher education and student affairs and organizational studies.

The unit was previously known as the ATU Department of Emergency Management, Professional Studies and Student Affairs Administration.

The new name for the school was approved by the ATU Board of Trustees on Feb. 15, 2024. It officially went into effect on June 1, 2024.

Dr. Rene Couture serves as head of the ATU School of PACE, which is part of the ATU College of Education and Health.
