A social media campaign scheduled for April 7-11 is designed to ensure each student, faculty member and staff member at Arkansas Tech University knows that #YouMatterATU.
Led by the ATU College of Business and Economic Development, the university-wide initiative invites ATU students to take a photo with a #YouMatterATU poster on campus and share it on social media with the hashtag #YouMatterATU.
ATU students completing that process will be eligible to visit the ATU College of Business and Economic Development offices on the fourth floor of Rothwell Hall and spin a wheel for prizes donated by local businesses.
Participants in the #YouMatterATU social media campaign will also be entered into a drawing for the grand prizes, which will be an Apple iPad donated by Taco Bell.
Additional local businesses are supporting the program by donating gift cards, merchandise or vouchers for the prize wheel.
“The primary goal of this event is to foster a sense of belonging, empowerment and positivity within our student body,” reads a statement associated with the campaign released by the ATU College of Business and Economic Development. “By highlighting the importance of every individual’s contribution and worth, we aim to create a supportive environment where students feel valued, recognized and celebrated.”
