Arkansas Tech University students partnered with the Dardanelle Police Department to conduct a Toys for Tots drive on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Members of Alpha Phi Sigma criminal justice honor society at ATU helped Dardanelle officers fill two police cars with toys and collect $500 in cash donations to support the project, which took place at Walmart of Dardanelle.
“Dardanelle’s Toys for Tots Drive was a huge success,” said Abby Tate, member of Alpha Phi Sigma at ATU. “Members of our honor society had the opportunity to interact with law enforcement and learn more about the potential career they want to have, as well as give back to a community. We are very grateful for the turnout.”
