Data for the 2024-25 academic year reveals that Arkansas Tech University is one of the two most affordable options for graduate study among higher education institutions in the Natural State.

Tuition and mandatory fees for 12 hours per semester of graduate study at Arkansas Tech is $9,531 for the 2024-25 academic year. The only institution in Arkansas with a lower rate for in-state students is the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff ($9,076).

Arkansas State University ($9,746), the University of Arkansas at Monticello ($9,834), Southern Arkansas University ($9,840), the University of Central Arkansas ($9,843), the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences ($9,992), Henderson State University ($9,996), the University of Arkansas at Little Rock ($10,533), the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith ($10,674) and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville ($12,469) are all more expensive than ATU for 12 hours per semester of graduate study for in-state students in 2024-25.

“Arkansas Tech University is committed to providing access to post-secondary education at levels ranging from certificates of proficiency all the way through doctoral study,” said Dr. Russell Jones, ATU president. “By working to keep graduate study within reach, we create an opportunity for professionals from Arkansas and beyond to expand their knowledge base, better serve their communities, advance in their careers and increase their future earning potential.”

ATU graduate and doctoral students will pay the same tuition rate ($314.50 per student semester credit hour) regardless of in-state or out-of-state residency in 2024-25. For out-of-state students, it is the least expensive graduate tuition rate among all Arkansas institutions of higher education.

Arkansas Tech offers 25 master’s degrees, an Educational Specialist degree and a Doctor of Education degree in school leadership. It also offers 18 graduate certificates. In-person, online and hybrid delivery methods are available depending upon course of study.
