ATU Volunteers Looking for Places to Serve Nov. 18

Jock-Davis-Green and Gold Give Back 2022
Jock Davis of Russellville (center) is among the Arkansas Tech University alumni who have invited Green and Gold Give Back volunteers to help them rake and dispose of leaves in recent years.

Arkansas Tech University invites local businesses, non-profit organizations and residents to register as project sites for the ATU Green and Gold Give Back day of service on Saturday, Nov. 18.

ATU student volunteers will go into the community to rake and dispose of leaves and perform similar maintenance projects for the benefit of the Arkansas River Valley and its people. Hours of Green and Gold Give Back service on Nov. 18 will be from 7:30 a.m.-noon.

Green and Gold Give Back was established in 2013. During the 2022 Green and Gold Give Back, 134 ATU students volunteered at 26 local homes and Lake Dardanelle State Park.

To register as a project site for Green and Gold Give Back, contact Megan Bell, coordinator of civic and community engagement and leadership development in the ATU Department of Campus Life, at mbell11@atu.edu or (479) 968-0276.
