Arkansas Tech University will host the 52nd annual meeting of the Arkansas Political Science Association on its Russellville campus Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8.
Approximately 90 meeting participants will have opportunties to attend undergraduate and faculty panels, roundtable discussions and additional sessions.
George C. Edwards III, university distinguished professor of political science and Jordan Chair in Presidential Studies emeritus at Texas A&M University, and State Senator Breanne Davis of Russellville will appear as special guest speakers.
According to its website, the Arkansas Political Science Association is “a professional association of university and secondary school political scientists and other related fields (history, geography, sociology, psychology, emergency management, etc.), graduate and undergraduate students, practitioners and other professionals in the scientific study of government and political behavior.”
The ATU College of Arts and Humanities and the ATU Department of History and Political Science are hosting the 2025 Arkansas Political Science Association.
