Area athletes will have the opportunity to learn more about basketball and volleyball this week during three camps that are planned.
Beginning Wednesday, the Arkansas Tech Women’s Basketball program will host an individual camp. The camp will run through Friday and is open to anyone in grades 5-12. During the camp, participants will work on varied basketball skills. The camp costs $195 for overnight participants and $120 for those not staying each evening.
The Arkansas Tech staff will also host a Lil’ Suns basketball camp that runs from Wednesday through Friday. The camp is open to those in kindergarten through fourth grade and costs $60. Those taking part will learn several basketball fundamentals including passing and shooting.
Arkansas Tech will also host a volleyball camp on Friday and Saturday. The camp is open to those in grades 6-12. During the camp, participants will focus on skill improvement, and the campers will have the opportunity to practice play in a team setting. The cost of the camp is $150 for overnight participants and $125 for those not staying overnight.
