Arkansas Tech Campus Recreation is working to expand and offer new opportunities for Arkansas Tech students.
Throughout the fall, students will be able to take advantage of several opportunities at Lake Dardanelle State Park.
Currently on the agenda are an eagle watch and night bat watch at Lake Dardanelle as well as a canoe trip. The events are free of charge to any student with a valid Arkansas Tech identification card.
Several other changes taking place include the purchase of additional equipment for students to enjoy. Currently the department provides bikes, tents and kayaks for students. Josh Hulgan, graduate assistant for campus recreation, said this equipment has been quite popular, and the Campus Recreation hopes to provide additonal options for students to enjoy.
