Tryouts for the 2010-11 Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders and Arkansas Tech Golden Girls are scheduled to take place next week.
Those wishing to audition for the Arkansas Tech Cheerleading Squad must attend a clinic prior to tryouts. The cheer clinic will take place from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, and on Thursday, April 15, at Tucker Coliseum. During the clinic, participants will learn the required tryout material.
The cheer tryout will take place on Friday, April 16, from 5-9 p.m. in the Hull Building Double Gym.
The Golden Girls, Arkansas Tech’s dance team, will host a clinic from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, and on Thursday, April 15, in the Hull Building Double Gym for tryout participants to learn the tryout material.
The Golden Girls tryout will take place from 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 17, in the Hull Building Double Gym.
Those trying out for either squad will be required to pay a $15 tryout fee, and students must be considered full-time students with a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Entering freshmen must meet entrance requirements of the university.
