The tryout process begins this afternoon for those wishing to tryout for the 2010-11 Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders and Arkansas Tech Golden Girls.
Those auditioning for the Arkansas Tech Cheerleading Squad must attend a clinic tonight and tomorrow from 5-9 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum. Officials say participants will learn several routines that will be part of the audition.
The cheer tryout will take place on Friday, April 16, from 5-9 p.m. in the Hull Building Double Gym.
The Golden Girls, Arkansas Tech’s dance team, will host their clinic tonight and tomorrow from 5-9 p.m. at the Hull Building Double Gym for tryout participants to learn the tryout material.
The Golden Girls tryout will take place from 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 17, in the Hull Building Double Gym.
Those trying out for either squad will be required to pay a $15 tryout fee, and students must be considered full-time students with a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Entering freshmen must meet entrance requirements of the university.
