The Arkansas Tech University Department of Music has announced it will offer a spring choir concert on Tuesday, April 12.
The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Witherspoon Auditorium.
Gary Morris, director of choirs at Arkansas Tech, said that traditional folk songs and spirituals will be part of the program. The Arkansas Tech Guitar Ensemble, led by Dr. Deborah Barber, will be featured during the concert. Barber is associate professor of music at Tech.
Morris conducts the University Choir, while the University Women’s Chorus is directed by Holly Ruth Gale and the University Men’s Chorus is directed by Dr. Jon Clements. Gale and Clements both hold the faculty rank of associate professor of music.
The concert is free of charge, and the public is invited.
