Arkansas Tech University’s choral music program will present a concert entitled “Pathways: Trails of Tears” on Sunday, April 21.
The performance will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium, 407 West Q Street on the ATU campus in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.
Groups scheduled to take the stage are the ATU Concert Chorale, the ATU University Singers and the ATU Choral Artists.
Dr. Ben Johns, ATU visiting director of choral activities, and Dr. Jon Clements, ATU professor of music, will serve as conductors for the choral ensembles. Dr. Timothy Smith, ATU professor of music, will accompany the choirs on piano.
Dax Driggs, Sam Holtkamp, Caney Horne and Carlie Westra will appear as student conductors.
