High school students from throughout the Arkansas River Valley will be in Russellville on Thursday, Sept. 21, for an Arkansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (ArkACRAO) College Planning Program.
The event will be hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Office of Admissions and will expose high school students to information from universities, colleges, vocational-technical schools and military branches.
The daytime session will be from 9-11 a.m. at John E. Tucker Coliseum at 1604 Coliseum Drive in Russellville, while the evening session will be open from 5:30-7 p.m. on the third floor of the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at 305 West Q Street in Russellville.
The evening session will also include a financial aid and scholarship information workshop. That meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 331.
Students from the following areas have been invited to attend the ArkACRAO College Planning Program at Arkansas Tech: Atkins, Bigelow, Booneville, Charleston, Clarksville, County Line, Danville, Dardanelle, Dover, Hector, J.D. Leftwich (Magazine), Johnson County Westside, Lamar, Morrilton, Mulberry, Nemo Vista, Oark, Ozark, Paris, Pottsville, Russellville, Sacred Heart (Morrilton), Scranton, Two Rivers, Western Yell County and Wonderview.
