Members of the Arkansas River Valley rallied to support the Wonder Boys and Golden Suns in their efforts to host both the men’s and women’s NCAA Division II Tournament South Regional.
Community members volunteered their time in a variety of roles including hosting teams, selling Arkansas Tech flags and donating items for gift baskets.
“Many members of our community graciously supported the Golden Suns, Wonder Boys and Arkansas Tech in this endeavor,” added Julie Morgan, assistant to the president. “Their support and assistance truly helped make this tournament a positive and memorable experience for the players and coaches who participated, and we appreciate their help.”
