Arkansas Tech University, the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care will sponsor a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on the ATU campus in Russellville on Wednesday, Sept. 8.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Hull Building Student Union, which is located at 1306 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville. No appointment is necessary. Vaccine recipients are asked to bring identification and an insurance card if available.
Individuals who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine during the ATU on-campus vaccination event on Aug. 18 will be eligible to receive the second dose during the Sept. 8 clinic.
First doses will also be administered to any eligible individuals who wish to receive one.
Individuals age 18 and older who receive a first dose of the vaccine on Sept. 8 will be presented with their choice of a lottery ticket or a $20 Arkansas Game and Fish Commission gift certificate. Those in the 12-17 age range will receive an Arkansas Game and Fish gift certificate. A parent or guardian must accompany individuals between the ages of 12-17 receiving the Pfizer vaccine at the Sept. 8 clinic.
