Kelly Davis, director of athletic relations at Arkansas Tech University, has been named the 2009 Red Coat of the Year by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Red Coats is an invitation-only committee of the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Red Coat members recruit and retain chamber members and serve as official chamber representatives at ribbon cuttings and ground breakings.
Davis is serving as chairman of the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce Red Coats during 2010.
A 1981 graduate of Arkansas Tech, Davis was an All-America kicker for the Wonder Boys in 1979. He was named to the Arkansas Tech Hall of Distinction under the Distinction in Intercollegiate Athletics category in 2008.
Davis and his wife, Reta, have two children: Will and Anna Grace.
