Arkansas Tech alumna Dr. Cynthia Sides will present a seminar entitled “Building Blocks for You and Your Career” on Thursday, Feb. 4 as part of a chemistry seminar series that is sponsored by a grant from the Office of Academic Affairs.
As Founding Director of the IGNITE program and the associate director for the Office of Entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas, Sides facilitates a network of university and industry relationships focused on building Arkansas’ knowledge-based economy through entrepreneurship and university research.
The seminar will take place at the Doc Bryan Lecture Hall at 4 p.m. with snacks being offered for guests at 3:30 p.m.
All Arkansas Tech students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the seminar.
Sides graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She was also a member of the honors program.
