Textbook Brokers at Arkansas Tech University is selling ATU-themed apparel celebrating the total solar eclipse that will take place on April 8, 2024.
The ATU-themed eclipse merchandise features a design created by Kasten Searles, head of the ATU Department of Art and associate professor of art. The bookstore is located in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville.

ATU’s Russellville campus is in the center of the path of totality for the eclipse.
According to Astronomy magazine, Russellville, Ark., will be one of the top 10 places in North America to view the eclipse.
The American Astronomical Society states on a web page dedicated to the 2024 event (https://eclipse.aas.org/eclipse-america-2024) that a total solar eclipse is “one of the most awesome sights in all of nature.”
