Arkansas Tech University faculty and staff are invited to attend a virtual workshop about integrating Council on Foreign Relations World101 resources into curricular and co-curricular programs.
The workshop will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, and will be accessible at shorturl.at/hnpE0.
The ATU Office of Study Abroad is sponsoring the presentation.
Yasu Onodera, ATU associate dean for international and multicultural student services, and Dr. Guolin Yi, ATU assistant professor of history, will lead the conversation. They have experience blending World101 resources into programs and courses at ATU.
According to its website, World101 “is a growing library of free multimedia resources that provide an immersive learning experience.”
The Council on Foreign Relations also states that “through its entertaining, interactive story-telling, World101 makes complex international relations and foreign policy issues accessible to learners.”
This workshop is aligned with goal 4.3 of the ATU strategic plan, which states that Arkansas Tech will “develop and implement a comprehensive plan for internationalization and global education.”
