Students at Arkansas Tech are heading to the classroom for the final time this semester, as today is the last day of classes for the spring semester.
Tuesday is Reading Day on the Arkansas Tech campus, and there are no classes to give students time to prepare for finals. On Reading Day, many professors hold office hours to meet with students who are studying for their final tests.
Arkansas Tech final exams will begin on Wednesday, May 5, and will run through Tuesday, May 11. See the complete exam schedule.
Several mornings before the final exams, the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association will be providing breakfast to students. Read more about that.
Commencement exercises will take place on Saturday, May 15. Students graduating from the College of Applied Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the College of Professional Studies and Community Outreach and all associate degrees will be recognized during the 10 a.m. ceremony.
There is also a ceremony at 2 p.m. honoring those students graduating from the Graduate College, the College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Education.
The Ozark Campus Commencement Ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Alma Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 15.
