Members of the Arkansas Tech University community will have several opportunities to obtain a flu shot in the coming weeks.
The Arkansas Tech University Health and Wellness Center will host a mass flu immunization clinic on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Room 204 of Baz-Tech.
Wednesday’s clinic is for students only, and students will need their Tech identification card to receive the shot.
The injections are provided at no cost for students.
The Office of Human Resources will also host a flu immunization for faculty and staff on Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room. The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. – noon and from 3 – 5:30 p.m.
The Ozark Campus will have a clinic on Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Student Services Conference Center Room 117 B. The clinic will run from 2-5:30 p.m.
Faculty, staff and family dependents ages 12 and up will be able to receive an injection during the faculty and staff clinic. There are no out-of-pocket costs for the injections, but they will be filed through Arkansas Tech insurance.
