The Arkansas Tech University Observatory at McEver Hall will open its doors to the public on the first Tuesday of each month during the fall 2012 semester.
Dr. Jeff Robertson, professor of astrophysics and dean of the Arkansas Tech College of Natural and Health Sciences, has announced that the first public viewing opportunity of the semester is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 8-9 p.m.
Weather permitting, future observatory open house nights include:
- Tuesday, Oct. 2, 8-9 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 6, 7-8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Dec. 4, 6-7 p.m.
