Arkansas Tech University President Dr. Robin E. Bowen has announced that Jason L. Geiken has accepted an offer to become the next vice president for advancement at ATU.
Geiken has served as associate vice president for development and alumni affairs at California State University Stanislaus since December 2017.
He previously held positions as vice president for institutional advancement at Hannibal-LaGrange University (Mo.) and as a college-level director of development for the Iowa State University Foundation.

We look forward to supporting him and working with him to develop enhanced relationships with individuals and organizations that share our passion for student access and student success.”
Geiken graduated from Baptist College of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music in 2004. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in marketing at Iowa State University in 2011.
“I am very grateful to President Bowen for the opportunity to join the ATU community and an incredible team of advancement professionals,” said Geiken. “She has cast an exciting vision for the future of the university, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. In addition, my wife, Bethany, and I are looking forward to raising our family in the Russellville area.”
In addition to his experience in higher education, Geiken has also worked in the private sector for Mediacom Communications and Principal Financial Group.
Geiken will take office at ATU on March 9, 2020.
